My name is Jordan Kern and this will be my 8th season coaching girls club volleyball. I have coached ages 14's-18's and 4 of my previous players have gone on to play at the collegiate level. Additionally, I have been playing volleyball my whole life and I'm thrilled to pass down my knowledge through the lens of a coach. In my professional life, I am an emotional support teacher for grades K-6 at Brecknock Elementary. I'm excited for this season and to help my players rise to success with great effort and attitudes.

I started playing volleyball when I was very young.  I received All-Conference honors in High School for all four years.  I went onto college to play basketball, however I continued playing volleyball recreationally. Athletics have always been a crucial part of my life, a key factor to the building blocks in many of my core values.  As a teacher, I looked for ways to incorporate my love of sports and started coaching.  I coached 8th-grade girls volleyball and 7th-grade boys basketball.  

  I am currently a 4th grade cyber teacher, mother of two amazing teenagers, as well as an animal lover.  My love for sports, teaching, and helping kids to build confidence and positive values are my true passions in life.

Hi everyone, my name is Desiree and I'm excited to kick off my coaching journey with the Driven Dragons. Growing up in Rochester, NY, volleyball has always been a huge part of my life, thanks to my two older sisters. We spent countless hours playing together. When we moved to Maryland, I started playing high school and club volleyball at the age of 14, representing La Plata High School and the Capital Clubhouse team until I graduated. During this time I helped run clinics and coached girls individually on the off season. I pursued my studies in Business Administration and Accounting at Eastern University, where I also played intramural volleyball throughout my college years. After meeting my husband Andrew at Eastern, we settled in Downingtown. Together, we play on two volleyball leagues year-round, fueling my passion for the sport and my desire to support young women in their athletic journey.When I'm not on the volleyball court, I dedicate my time to working at a non-profit organization called Poiema Movement, where I help raise funds for women in need. Family, friends, and the Downingtown community hold a special place in my heart. In my free time, I enjoy staying active, hitting the beach, and cherishing moments with loved ones. I'm thrilled to start this season and can't wait to make a positive impact on the team. Let's go!

Hello everyone, my name is Jada and I am an assistant coach going int my 2nd year with the Driven Dragons Volleyball Academy! I could not be more excited to join this incredible volleyball family! I have been playing volleyball for the past 8 years, starting in 7th grade all through high school. Along with playing for my school, I played for a club team for 3 years. The first practice I had I immediately fell in love with the sport and knew I wanted to continuously be surrounded by the amazing atmosphere that volleyball has. This is my first time coaching but I have a deep passion and knowledge of the sport and I am so excited for this upcoming season!

Hi! My name is Candice and I am so excited to start this club season!

I live in West Chester with my two kids (Cora and Wyatt), and my husband (Bill). I am a Preschool teacher and I truly love my job! I’ve been working with kids for about 18 years now.

I started my coaching journey back in the summer of 2013 at Notre Dame De Lourdes in Swarthmore. I started out doing JV (5th and 6th grade), and moved up to varsity (7th and 8th grade) my last 2 years. My first year in Varsity my team made it to Regionals and won second place!

My love and passion for Volleyball has been a part of my life since 5th grade. I played for my school and also played Club. I had such a great time and some amazing coaches that had a lasting impact on my life. I hope to be that for your child, and I am here to help them grow as a player and a person :)

Hi! I am Alexis Garrett, and I grew up in East Stroudsburg, PA. I am currently a 4th year at West Chester University, studying to be a middle school math teacher. I started playing volleyball in 4th grade by attending my high school intramurals with my older sister. I absolutely fell in love with the sport. I continued to go to the intramurals every summer after and even practiced with my sister on the days that they weren’t being held to get better at my skills. I made my middle school volleyball team in 7th and 8th grade and joined my first club team the winter after my 8th-grade season. I played all four years of high school on my varsity team and continued to play club after the school season was over. I am an assistant coach at Downingtown Middle School.  I am going into my 2nd year with the Driven Dragons, I have been promoted to Head Coach, after leading the 13s National Team to victory in Orlando Florida, Volleyball Nationals!  We won 1st place in our bracket! 

Hi everyone! My name is Maggie and this is my first year with driven dragons as an assistant coach. I began playing volleyball in 8th grade and instantly fell in love with the game. In high school I decided to do club volleyball and continued playing in college for University of Maine in Presque Isle. In my years of playing I have learned that it is such a uniting sport and a powerful and positive attitude can make a team thrive. I am so excited to share all I can with you all and experience this amazing team!

Hello!! My name is Grace Egan and this is my second year coaching with Driven Dragons! I have been playing volleyball for 11 years, starting in 5th grade CYO. I loved the sport so much that I started playing club and continued to play throughout middle and high school. I graduated from Coatesville in 2022 and went on to play at Montgomery County Community College in the fall of that year. In 2023 I took a break from volleyball, but realized I missed it so much that I decided to come back into the sport by becoming a coach! I am so excited for the upcoming season and can’t wait to meet everyone!

Hi my name is Ariana. I started playing volleyball my senior year of high school and absolutely fell in love with the sport! Since then I have been trying to find ways to stay very involved and continue with my volleyball journey both as a player and coach! After my senior year was over, once i graduated, the club I played for asked me if i wanted to be a volunteer assistant coach, I jumped at the opportunity and coached with them for about a year and a half, coaching kids from 12 to 18. After leaving there, I found the Driven Dragons and enjoyed my time being a coach and was able to come back for a second season and i am so happy to be continuing my coaching journey here! I’m also a college student currently in the process of getting my undergraduate degree in Psychology, i was previously a student at West Chester University and i will very likely continue and finish my degree there (Go Rams!). My long-term education and career goal is to be a Psychiatrist for children and teens.

I am thrilled to be a part of the Driven Dragon’s coaching roster this season! This is my first year as a volleyball coach with the Driven Dragons, and I am so grateful to be the Head Coach for this year’s 12s team. I’ve played volleyball all through High School (graduated in 2011) and have gotten back on the court consistently over the last 3 years by participating in Exton/Phoenixville/Coatesville Adult Rec Leagues at the BB/A level. I am a mother to 2 children, 2 dogs, 2 guinea pigs, and 1 husband in the Downingtown East School District. I see coaching as an opportunity to give back to my community I love kids AND playing! I have a contagiously positive attitude and a strong technical knowledge of volleyball. My goal this season for the 12 and under age group is to teach them the basic skills needed to play as a team, and instill core values such as leadership, communication, and respect both on and off the court-all while having so much fun! Volleyball is 50% high-fives after all!

What an amazing opportunity to be invited to coach Driven Dragons’ 14 Amethyst Team.  I am looking forward to enriching the skillsets of the girls, encouraging their love of volleyball and growing their leadership within themselves and as a team player.

I have raised four boys whom all have participated in a wide variety of sports during their youth. We have covered baseball, PGA Junior Golf Tour, basketball, lacrosse, dek hockey, football and soccer.  While being team mom of some and coach of others, volunteering in any capacity in their love of the sport was my ultimate goal.  Outside of sports, our family enjoyed boy scouts and junior firefighting.

Volunteering with the kids carried over to my own interests as I became the co-creator and coordinator of a youth firefighter camp at our all-volunteer Township fire department.  June 2024 we celebrated our 10th anniversary hosting 135 kids from 6 years old to 13 years old. Over the 10 years coordinating our custom youth program, the fire department educated (and even recruited a few) in excess of 1,200 kids.  Fostering the idea of volunteerism, educating safety and instilling the ideology of teamwork is priceless.

With negotiating the world of special needs with my oldest son and raising three other boys to their fullest potential has taught me invaluable lessons of strength, importance of positivity and the love of being challenged to continue to expand my knowledge of those things yet to be learned.

I am so thrilled to be a part of Driven Dragons! I am the head coach of the 13s Amethyst Team, and this is my first year coaching women's volleyball. I was the head 7th-grade women's volleyball coach at Phoenixville Middle School earlier this year! I played volleyball from middle school up to my first year of college! Currently, I am a full-time West Chester University student studying Secondary Ed English. I am super excited for a great season!

life—I’ve been playing since 8th grade, competing on both club and high school teams
throughout high school. I recently graduated college this December, where I kept my passion
for the sport alive by playing recreationally. I’m beyond excited to bring my experience and
energy to this amazing club and can’t wait to kick off an incredible season with you all!

​Hi! My name is Nicole and I am super excited to join Driven Dragons Volleyball Academy as a new assistant coach! I started playing volleyball in 7th grade and continued on to play in club and high school at Downingtown West. I was lucky enough to experience Nationals with my club team three times! I loved playing volleyball but stopped after high school to pursue my master’s degree in social work. I have missed playing volleyball and thought this was the perfect opportunity as I love working with kids. I am looking forward to meeting my new team and cannot wait to share my knowledge so that we can have a fun and competitive season!
