When are volleyball club season tryouts?
We host club team tryouts in the summer for ages 15 and up. Advanced 14-year-old players are welcome to try out for 15 and over. 14-year-old and under tryouts are held in October.
Besides gender and age, what divisions does Driven Dragons club volleyball offer?
We have 3 Divisions defined in our club. Pilot/Regional/National. The tryouts determine if your volleyball player makes the Pilot or Regional Team. Pilot teams are less competitive and more developmental in nature, while Regional Teams are more competitive and will challenge and stretch your volleyball player. National Teams are by nomination only and are highly competitive and the most advanced division in our Academy.
What's included in the Regional Team Program?
10% Loyalty Discount applies to any player who was a Dragon last club season
Our Regional Team season (tuition: $2,700 - $3,100) is four months long (Dec-Mar), with volleyball practice (including strength/conditioning/speed and agility) 2x a week and 9 to 12 days of tournaments. The uniform package is included in this price. Tournaments are no further than a 1.5-hour drive from United Sports in Downingtown, PA. [Official Practice Schedule is released Nov 2024; Official Tournament Schedule is released December 2024]
During the Regional Season, Volleyball Players who match our leadership values the most and display high volleyball IQ are nominated by coaches and leadership to advance onto our National Teams. If the family accepts the nomination, the Volleyball Player will be awarded a spot on one of our national teams.
What's included in the National Team Program?
The National Team season (tuition: $2,025) begins right after the Regional season ends and runs from April through mid-June, ending at AAU Nationals in Orlando, Florida. Practice is 2x a week (includes strength/speed training) , and we attend 7 to 10 days of tournaments. (Includes updated Jersey to represent National Team)

What does the tuition cover versus not cover?
Tuition covers the Player uniform package, Team and Player Tournament Entry Fees, Coaching Fees, and Court Rentals.
Tuition does not cover KRVA/USA/AAU player memberships, tournament spectator fees, tournament parking fees, travel/hotel/food, team-building events, photography, or end-of-season parties.

What if my volleyball player does not make the regional team?
Only for 14 and Under Tryouts: If your volleyball player does not make one of our regional teams, we will provide them a spot on one of our Pilot teams or a chance to be a practice player. If all those options are full, we can add them on our waitlist for our up-and-coming clinics. The Pilot team season (tuition: $1,200) is a 2-month season (Dec - Jan) with 1x volleyball practice a week and 1 tournament. It includes a Team Jersey and shorts.

Pilot Teams are first awarded to players who do not make the Regional Teams. (Pilot teams only apply to ages 14 and Under). If any space is left available after the 14 and Under Tryout Period, we will open the Pilot Teams as registration only and not require a tryout.​
15 and over players who do not make a team are provided an option to be on our waitlist for up-and-coming clinics.​
